Can regular exercise really make a big difference in adults and children?
The CDC, (Center for Disease Control) published March 10, 2026:
“Physical activity is good for children in many ways. Benefits include improved academic performance, brain health, muscular fitness, heart and lung health, cardiometabolic health, long-term health, bone strength, and measures of a healthy weight.”

Harvard Health Publishing, September 27, 2024 wrote:
“Exercising regularly – every day if possible – is the single most important thing you can do for your health. In the short term, exercise helps to control appetite, boost mood, and improve sleep. In the long term, it reduces the risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, dementia, depression, and many cancers.”

The CDC states:
“Benefits include improved thinking or cognition for children 6 to 13 and reduced short-term feelings of anxiety for adults. Regular physical activity can help keep your thinking, learning, and judgment skills sharp as you age.”
